President Jokowi hands over food aid

Indonesian President Joko Widodo handed over food assistance in the form of rice to poor people in Yogyakarta on 30th January. The President said the rice assistance would be distributed until June. However, if the stock is available, the food aid could be continued after June, the president added.

One of the recipient said she was grateful with the food aid and the chance to meet the head of state in person. She hopes the government can continue giving the food aid in the future to the people in need.
