Chinese FM briefing on visa-free policies

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wang Wenbin said on Wednesday, China has reached visa exemption agreements with 157 countries covering different kinds of passports.

China’s policy to expand visa-exemption brings more opportunities for people-to-people exchanges and boosts China’s high-level opening up and the global tourism.China’s extension of the visa-free policy to Switzerland and Ireland, in addition to five EU countries this year.The visa-free policies’ expanding coverage has practically facilitated the exchange of personnel, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
