Cooperative Development: Inspection of dried bamboo processing factory

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Wednesday afternoon made an inspection in Zeyathiri Township area. In SetKone Village of the township, the Union Minister inspected a commercial small-scale dried bamboo processing factory jointly operated by SeinLalMyay Cooperative Enterprise and NaReinDra Company Limited.

During the inspection, the Union Minister heard reports on matters including vision, objectives, processes and operations of the factory, annual foreign demand and export conditions, annual export to Japan, plans to export to China and South Korea, bamboo plantation, training for growers and raw material availability conditions.

In his response, the Union Minister stressed the importance of continuous raw material availability, training for growers to ensure that natural resources are not destroyed in the production of raw materials. And, the Union Minister inspected the factory operation process steps and gave necessary instructions.
