Fresher Welcome Ceremony: Fresher Welcome and PPTT 10/23 opened in Dawei

A fresher welcome ceremony of Dawei Education Degree College 1st year 1st semester and PPTT 10/2023 was held at the Dawei Degree College in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region on Tuesday and it was attended by Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko. 

At the ceremony, Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister said that education is valuable capital for the development of the country, and the education reform is currently being carried out based on the latest educational systems suitable and flexible with teaching methods and curriculum.

He added that the role of the teacher who can produce the diligent people is very important for the human society. He also urged students to try hard to improve their studies and support the education sector in future. Then, the principal of Dawei Education Degree College gave briefing about the courses.

Next, students performed with Dawei traditional dances, DEDC dances and songs, Tanintharyi Region Government provided cash assistants, and Region Chief Minister cordially greeted the attendant teachers.
