Passing-out Parade: SAC Chairman C-In-CDS delivered a graduation speech

Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General ThadoeMahaThraySithuThadoeThirithudhamma Min Aung Hlaing delivered a graduation speech at the Passing-out Parade of the 10th Intake of Graduate Female Cadet Course was held at the parade ground of Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School (Hmawbi) in Yangon in the morning on 22nd December, 2023.

Also present at the ceremony together with the Senior General were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral ZeyyaKyawHtinSithu Moe Aung and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Zeya KyawHtinSithu Tun Aung and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Union Level Officials and their wives, the chief minister of Yangon Region, Commander of Yangon Command, commandant of Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School (Hmawbi) and officials.

First, the Senior General took the salute of the cadet company and inspected the cadet company. Then the cadet companies saluted the Senior General with slow-march past and quickmarch past.The Senior General presented the Best Cadet Award to Cadet Yu YuNaing from the 10th Intake of Graduate Female Cadet Course.

In his graduation speech, the Senior General emphasized that the female population accounted for more than half of the country’s total, stressing the need for women's active participation in patriotic efforts to drive national development and fortify the country's defense capabilities.

He highlighted the crucial role women have played across successive eras, from the time of the Independence struggle to the present, contributing significantly in social, economic, intellectual, and artistic fields. Urging the cadets to fulfill their responsibilities diligently, he emphasized the importance of applying military and leadership knowledge gained through practical training.The Senior General left the parade ground after taking to the salute of the cadet companies.

After the parade, the Senior General received Best Cadet Award winner Cadet Yu YuNaing, Excellent Award in Shooting Cadet Kyi Baho Saint, Excellent Award in Fitness Cadet ShweWutHmonOo and Excellent Award in Training Cadet Shwe Yi Winat the parlour of the headquarters of the school and spoke words of honour.
