Work Coordination Meeting : Progress and plans for electricity supply enterprises

During the Work Coordination Meeting held on December 13th and 14th to discuss the progress of work undertakings of Region and State Electricity Supply Enterprises for the fiscal year 2023-2024, Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun highlighted the ministry's efforts to increase electricity generation through the drafting of short and long-term plans.

Emphasizing the importance of prudent power distribution, the Union Minister called for supervision to prevent wastage. The Region and State Electric Engineers, along with the Chairmen of Yangon and Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporations, provided update reports on the ongoing work undertakings.

The Deputy Minister elaborated on these reports, and the Union Minister attended to the needs.
