3rd Work Coordination Meeting: 75th Independence Day Commemorative Concert

The 3rd work coordination meeting of the Leading Committee for Organizing 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Commemorative Concert 2023 was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

At the meeting, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said that it is arranged to hold the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Commemorative Concert in a grand manner to have peace of mind for the people and to understand the essence of Independence.

It is the big concert held for the 1st time to entertain to the people who feel depressed or stressed during the COVID-19 period. The Union Minister called for service personnel and artists to cooperate with goodwill for the State and the people and reporting for the needs.

Later, Vice Chairman of the Leading Committee Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin said that it will cooperate with relevant organizations for preparation of the ceremony, reception and accommodation as well as prepare the needs before rehearsal.

Chairman of the Work Committee Deputy Minister U Ye Tint reported on arrangements for the concert and future programs. Those presents reported on entertainment programs, theatrical shows that will be presented, music programs, arrangements for accommodation and sector-wise plans for holding the concert.

The concert in commemoration of 75th Anniversary Independence Day will be held for five days from 26th to 30th November at the open theatre in Nay Pyi Taw City Hall. The artists from film, theatrical and music fields will entertain for the 1st three days, artists under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Welfare on 29th November and the artists from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture on the 30th November.
